The water of the river could not be used. The inhabitants threatened if the factory was not closed soon, they would burn it.
SOURCE(S) EVENT	An environmentalist reported that the effect of water pollution had caused skin disease for many children because they liked swimming in Segoro Madu river. He also said that some women felt sick because they were very sensitive with bad smell and many fish were poisoned. Finally the water could not be used.

REACTION	At the station, he was told by a smiling policeman that his bicycle had been found. Five days ago, the policeman told him, the bicycle was picked up in a small village four hundred miles away. It is now being sent to his home by train.
CODA	Ted was surprised when he heard the news. He was amused too, because he never expected the bicycle to be found. It was stolen twenty years when Ted was a boy of fifteen.
